Faly Academy Teams Program U9-U18

Faly Academy Team Programs U9-U18

The Faly Academy Team programs are designed for boys and girls of all skill levels to enjoy and progress through their soccer development while competing at various levels in the North Shore Youth Soccer League (Upon Acceptance).

At Faly Academy, we continue to teach and learn about football in a good way. The Faly Academy Program includes uniquely designed football sessions for players so that they can progress through various levels and technical sessions of 2v2, 3v3 and 4v4. We make the sessions fun for the players through different types of drills and scrimmages, increasing the players technical skills and abilities throughout the program. The players will experience a small sided game of 6/8 players per side. The Program and its sessions will not only help to build stronger players but will also grow their love for the game.

The Faly Academy Program is for players ranging from youth through to adult, where players will have the chance to improve their skills by having fun and playing in real football games (11 players per side) in a less competitive environment.

The program will offer 1-2 practices a week and games for the period of 10 months programs.

Early Coaching: Instruction for skill development and game awareness

Adapting the early skills that have been learned with progression to slightly more advanced programs involving ball possession, retention and distribution. Understanding basic positional play and movement off the ball while expanding the knowledge of how a game evolves. Physicality and the effective use of body positioning. Learning from and discussing mistakes that are commonly made. Maintaining a positive and exciting environment for learning.

Following the early development years, the key objective of the Faly Academy is to ensure that the children have had an exciting and incredibly positive experience with a clear demonstration that they are enjoying the game of soccer. It is a time of reflection for both the coaches and of course, the players, many of whom may eventually decide to continue with the game on a recreational basis only. Others will demonstrate a willingness and ambition to push themselves harder beyond the elite program that offers a more competitive and comprehensive approach to the game of soccer.

Goalies will receive training that will provide them with unique skill development in terms of practice, learning, mentality and relationship with teammates.

U11 – U15 Female

A pathway to competition play

Physical changes to the body are prevalent during this period and players are more attuned in coping with tougher training programs and increased schedules to build stamina and personal strength. Tactical awareness and more advanced drills to improve skills are introduced and applied in real game time. A greater understanding and further advancement towards possession, retention and distribution techniques is encouraged and the concept of mental preparation and strength is openly discussed as part of the program.

Goalies will receive training that will provide them with unique skill development in terms of practice, learning, mentality and relationship with teammates.

Reach for the Sky

With the introduction of 11 v11 and full size fields for game time, this program enhances all the knowledge and understanding of the game learned to date and formulates to another level of skill progression. There is a directive to work with players far more technically and to home-in on personal, individual qualities that favour particular positional play and to build on such strengths without ignoring the need to overcome weaknesses. A broader approach to the game is coached which includes nutritional and dietary teaching measures for sustained and better health, and mental awareness to cope with the ups and downs of soccer which can be applied to winning, losing and injury recovery. It is a period within the academy which pays a lot of attention towards the speed and pace of the game. Whilst individualism is always encouraged, soccer is a team sport and the awareness and movement of others on the field of play is a constant topic for discussion. There is no ceiling to the progress that can be made from the program.

Goalies will receive training that will provide them with unique skill development in terms of practice, learning, mentality and relationship with teammates.
